Ordinary Fellows
They shall be persons who have satisfactorily completed their specialty or sub-specialty training in a field of Paediatrics and Child Health and have passed the prescribed examinations of the College of Paediatrics, or have been awarded a Fellowship by election, having satisfied the Council of the College that they possess qualifications entitling them to be Fellows of the College.
What are the qualifications required to become an Ordinary Fellow of ECSAPACH?
To become an Ordinary Fellow, you must have satisfactorily completed your specialty or sub-specialty training in a field of Paediatrics and Child Health and have passed the prescribed examinations of the College of Paediatrics, or have been awarded a Fellowship by election, having satisfied the Council of the College that you possess qualifications entitling you to be a Fellow of the College.
How can I apply to become an Ordinary Fellow?
You can apply to become an Ordinary Fellow by submitting a duly filled application form (maf. 002) to the Secretary General, along with a complete and up-to-date curriculum vitae.
What is the election process for Ordinary Fellows?
The election process involves the following steps:
- Your application will be reviewed by the Examinations and Credentials Committee.
- The committee will make recommendations to the Council.
- The Council will then hold an election to determine if you are admitted as an Ordinary Fellow.
What are the benefits of becoming an Ordinary Fellow?
As an Ordinary Fellow, you will enjoy full rights, benefits, and other privileges as declared by the Council. You will also be able to participate in the governance of the College by voting and being voted for in College meetings.
What are the obligations of an Ordinary Fellow?
As an Ordinary Fellow, you will be required to pay annual subscriptions as prescribed by the Council and present periodic evidence of maintaining competence and ethical standards as prescribed by your respective Board.
