About ECSAPACH

The East, Central & Southern Africa College of Paediatrics and Child Health (ECSAPACH) is a regional institution dedicated to advancing paediatric healthcare through specialized education, training, research, and professional collaboration. Established in 2021 by paediatric associations from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, and Botswana, ECSAPACH promotes excellence in paediatric and child health practice across the region. 

The College upholds core values of integrity, quality, collaboration, innovation, and nurturing, with a mission to empower paediatric specialists to revolutionize child health in Africa through accessible, high-quality education. As a constituent college of the East, Central and Southern Africa College of Health Sciences, ECSAPACH collaborates with national and international medical bodies to ensure standardized postgraduate training, certifying examinations, and the continuous professional development of paediatricians. 

By fostering research, ethical practice, and multidisciplinary cooperation, ECSAPACH is committed to shaping the future of child healthcare across East, Central, and Southern Africa.

Virtual Learning

ECSAPACH utilizes a virtual learning platform to deliver its educational content and foster a vibrant learning community. The platform offers course content, interactive quizzes and assignments, discussion forums, live webinars, a resource library, personalised learning tracks, mobile accessibility, and technical support.

Programmes

ECSAPACH is dedicated to advancing paediatric healthcare in East, Central, and Southern Africa through comprehensive programmes. These include General Paediatrics and Child Health, Paediatric Sub-specialties, Continuing Professional Education, and other Paediatric disciplines. 

The College is committed to fostering collaboration and upholding ethical standards in paediatric practice.

Our programmes are designed to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to address the unique challenges faced by children in the region. The College utilizes a “College without walls” model, leveraging face-to-face learning in a network of accredited health facilities and a virtual learning platform to deliver high-quality education and training. This innovative approach ensures the accessibility of healthcare services to children and their families within the community.
